Frequently Asked Questions
What skill level do I need to join?
All skill levels are welcome! TAP uses a handicap system that levels the playing field, so beginners can compete fairly against experienced players. Many of our members started as casual players.
How much does it cost?
Weekly fees are typically $5-7 per player per match. This covers league administration, tournament fees, and prizes. There are no upfront seasonal dues.
What is the time commitment?
Matches are held one night per week (usually Tuesday or Wednesday) starting at 7 PM. A typical match night lasts 2-4 hours depending on the number of games.
Do I need my own cue?
No! All our host locations have house cues available. Many players eventually get their own cue, but it is not required to play.
Can I join an existing team or do I need to form one?
Both options are available. We can help connect you with teams looking for players, or if you have friends interested, we can help you start a new team.
